Who We Are
VERTICAL LIFT & EQUIPMENT, INC. (VLEI) is an offshoot of Active Reliant Elevator & Escalator Company (AREEC) whose mission is to establish an elevator company that will become a recognized industry leader in providing top quality elevators and escalators at reasonable cost.
The company prime mover is Engr. Ronnie Rivero who previously worked with industry giant Mitsubishi Electric. While assigned in the Middle East and Japan, he forged extensive experience in Engineering, Installation, Modernization and Maintenance. He further broadened his competency working with other lift companies and later as a freelance lift consultant.
In 2006, Ronnie set up Active Reliant Elevator & Escalator Company (AREEC). In 2014, AREEC took its new corporate name as VERTICAL LIFT & EQUIPMENT, INC. (VLEI), venturing further into sales, installation and maintenance. VLEI will soon establish satellite offices in the Visayas and Mindanao regions to support growing after‑sales requirements nationwide.
